Oh and to make this actully interesting... I was talking to my girlfriend and I figure that if anyone one was to ask me who would be the biggest metal persona I would pick Ozzy Osbourne. She says AC/DC is bigger and more influentual. I think I would classify AC/DC as Trailor Metal... Its for drinking beers while combing your mullet using the front mirror on your 85' Camero

I don't recall that video, but I think Black Sabbath is the biggest, because they influenced so many musicians who influenced so many musicians and so on. Aside, I'd say Metallica. When anyone in a book or an article compares something to being loud, they almost always cite Metallica as an example. Metallica is another VERY influential group. So yeah, one of those two.
