View Full Version : A philosophical question

There were four women in Charlie Brown's life:

Lucy

Patty

Peggy Jean

and the red-haired girl

So when Charles grows up, which one would he marry? Which would (or did) you?

You forgot one. Charlie Brown's one true love, the girl who is quietly confident that he will be hers.

I've seen my share of Peggy Jeans. It's nice to occasionally be surrounded by intelligent girls who know what they want. ^_^' Thank god for the college years. - -.

But imagine having the Lucy type for a sister. You're obviously not going to be dating her, but it's crazy nonetheless.

Poor Linus. Poor, poor Linus.

Isn't Patty a lesbian like all Patty's in cartooning?

Absolutely not you vile heretic!

Axel

That's just a rumor started by people who were jealous that they could never get near Marcie.

Patty is totally a lesbian, you can tell with the Sir thing.

Charlie Brown's angst obviously stems from the fact that he is a closet furry. He's going to marry Lucy as a way to try and cover it up even further, but soon Snoopy will TELL ALL to daytime television. OH NO

Well, I've known several of the Patty types when they were little and they almost always grow up to be these spunky, heart of gold sort of girls that I have a big soft spot for. I'd go for Patty msyelf.

Haha, that'd be great... Charlie Brown and Marcie. I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THE RUMORS! If only to be difficult. Besides, I'd totally go for a Marcie type. Or a Peggy Jean type. Personally, I think he'd have the best chance with Peggy Jean.

In reality, most Peggy Jeans turn out to be Lucys. And we all know Lucy is nothing but an ill-tempered tease.

Am I the only one on these forums that doesn't follow comics? I mean I used to read them when I was younger, but ever since about the age of 13 I stopped reading them. I see some families that are happy to read the Sunday comics and it blows my mind. Most if not all of the humor are recycled jokes that I've already heard. I actually get pissed off when I waste my time reading dumb jokes, so I stopped reading the paper.

Maybe all of you have a better selection of comics, but here Virginia Beach I hate them.

I have a comics.com and mycomicspage.com subscription. The comics on my pages:
Garfield
Calvin and Hobbes
B.C.
FoxTrot
Ziggy
For Better or For Worse
Shoe
Arlo and Janis
The Born Loser
Dilbert
Peanuts
Rose is Rose

I also like Zitz and Baby Blues, but they aren't available at either of those sites. *shrug* I'd rather read comics than about yet another pervert or murderer.

Ooh, just added Non Sequitor. It's been so long since I've really looked at a printed newpaper, I'm probably missing some good comics.

You should be shot for even suggesting that anyone read Doonesbury.

screw Doonesbury... Non sequiter does everything Doonesbury tries to do, only 1000x better.

Does comics.com have Get Fuzzy? If it does, then fcf fails for not having it on his list :P

fatcatfan

One or the other does. I dunno, I've read Get Fuzzy some. It's okay, but I don't especially care for it.

EDIT: Does no one have answers for my question? :p

Charlie will go with Lucy. I guarantee it.

Axel

Who knows? We don't exactly see any of them later in life.

That's why it's a philosophical sort of question Axel...

Nonetheless, you should still be shot. I doubt a bullet cares how much it matters to you.

Axel

"Should" makes it your opinion. Which is totally worthless. Your hypothetical bullet isn't worth the time you spent posting about it.

Alright guys, get on topic. Take the cock fight elsewhere.

Axel

Very well. I'm gonna say Marcie. Charlie Brown is very shy, very fragile. He could never handle a relationship with someone like Lucy or Patty, they would dominate him. Marcie's quiet confidence would provide him the kind of support he needs.

Charlie's submissive with low self esteem. Obviously he's going end up with Lucy.
