I don't even want to imagine an X-Rated Donkey Kong. Ew.

LMAO.

Foxtrot is so awesome, a gem in the world of comics. Makes me wish Calvin and Hobbes was still made.

*sheds a tear*

WHY WATERSON?!?!?! WHY?!?!?!

*quiets down*

I'm done :(

Well, it's a media frenzy. They pay attention to what they make the public want to believe in merely by showing it, then someone comments, it spreads, and then *BAM* ... a topic like this pops up in every message board across the world. :p

This sounds like my mom when we're playing videogames.

*my bro walks into the volcano in z64 and dies*
"THAT LITTLE BOY IS ON FIRE!! What is this game it's HORRIBLE why are you playing it maybe I should take it away."

my bro: "I don't really like the concept of GTA that much" (or something to that effect, he's never played it)
my mom: "WHERE DID YOU PLAY IT? when did you play it? who's house did you play it at? TELL ME NOW!"
me and my bro: o-O

Let Donkey Kong be. He's just a happy, exhibitionist. Every one loves a little indecent exposure every now and then.

It's that tie, man. The tie and no pants. That's pretty troublesome right there.

Games have ratings for a reason.. besides that whole Adults Only scene thing they hid in there. I remember when The Hulk was all popular, and this mother bought her daughter a Hulk doll, but it was counterfeit, and it was anatomically correct. Meaning it had a green monster within his pants. Don't see why the little girl looked though..

Foxtrot is excellent, as is Frazz and Zits, just to name a few. I realize that Calvin and Hobbes was probably the closest to perfect comic we'll ever have, but it did run for ten years... and it's been out of the papers for ten more. I think it's safe to stop lamenting it's cease in production now. You can always read the treasuries whenever you want.

There's a leather bound full collection of Calvin & Hobbes coming out in time for the Christmas season. Mycomicspage.com subscribers can preorder at a discount.

EDIT: Pardon me, not leather bound, but hardcover

At last, all of the Calvin and Hobbes comic strips that appeared in newspapers are available in a single, three-volume deluxe set.

Bah, just because Gary Larson released two volumes, Bill Watterson has to release three. Of course, the Complete Peanuts set is being released in several dozen volumes....

Yeah? I hadn't heard about those. I'll have to get them when I can.

Yeah, I was in a comics shop the other day and the nerd... er, cashier there was talking about those. I'll definately have to pick them up. The funny thing is, whenever I'm in a comic shop I just look at the newspaper cartoon treasuries and ignore all the actual comic books.
