1. what do you do if you get into a downloaded quest and you cant move?
2. can you play version 1.90 quests on version 2.10?

2. Yes, but there may be bugs. It's better to use 1.90.

I suggest only playing with the correct version otherwise nasty things can happen. For instance, if you play a beta 1.83 quest in 2.10 in some rooms you can get stuck (you can't move, sometimes you don't even appear on the screen) and if you save in those rooms (even when you're not stuck) you've trashed your save file and can start from the beginning.

However you can play 1.83 quests in 1.84 and copy your save file between the versions, this is practical as 1.84 doesn't have the map bug whereas 1.83 doesn't have the 'get stuck' bug.
