Do you have windows or Dos versions?

The windows version 2.10

that's your problem: Windows 2000. 2.10 is made for Windows XP (I believe). try finding a DOS version (it'll be a lower version, but it should work)

I also downloaded the same version at work and being a windows 2000 it works just fine??

*b* is incorrect; 2.10 works from Windows 9X up. (In fact, XP is the one with the most problems running it.)

Do you have an LCD or widescreen monitor?
