What exactly are custom bosses?

I'm making alot of threads today. :P
basically, i've heard reference, but can't find example. Is a custom boss just a redesigned set of tiles for a boss, or something else? Setting up a room to work like a boss? Could someone explain, or show me some examples...?

I don't know if I can explain custom bosses very well, but idontknow's ZC tutorial gives a good example. Check it out at the top of the Quest Editor Help page.

Custom bosses involve a weird combination of warps and other stuff. But you'd be better off checking out that tutorial than trying yo understand what I'm saying. I'm terrible at explaining things.
