MetroidA quest

Hi, I've downloaded this quest and went through it without problems until level 7. There is a guy in a locked room who tells me "I need energy or I might collapse from the heat" or something. I saw with the Lens of Truth that there is a hidden teleporter in this zone, and I think that I need the "bait" to discover it. Does anybody knows how to proceed?

Bait can be bought in the shop where... the Brinstar-like area is.

BTW, I strongly recommend you play the remake of this quest once you finish this.

Quick question: This is AKA Metroid: sr377, right?
Because sometimes, in the maridia like area, the metroid doesn't have a wave beam to sell. Wierd.

You playing in 2.10? Shops very occasionally don't load one or another of their items in 2.10.

Nope, this isn't SR377... but as Yoshi348 here said, 2.10 has some shop problems. That beam isn't needed, though. If you can manage to the final boss without it, then you'll be good and set.
