Ok. On a scale of 1 to 10, how sloppy would you say my computer desk is? (1 being the neatest, 10 the messiest)

Here it is...

9... You don't yet have anything growing on it. I'd watch that plate, though, if I were you.

About medium. Mine's messier, but then it's bigger. Is that a large ass sitting on those 3 kids on your wallpaper?

8 I think.. could be stains.. drinks spilled.. stuff like that.. mine.. right now has a DVD, CDs, popcorn, notepad, magazine, pile of business papers, soda and other little things like pens all over.. so.. mine's maybe the same.. it's just I have more room.. that I use up fully with messes.. ha ha.. eek..

I had a bigger desk at my old place but we left it behind and had to get a new one. We picked a smaller one so that a bookshelf could be placed next to it.

But my old desk was way messier, as I had more room to be messy.

Mine is messier. I'll show you. In a minute or 10...

Anyway, I give it a 5. It could be far worse.

Edit: Here's my desk. (http://www.gerudo.net/moocow/desk.jpg)

You may not have my hersheys bar. You can, however, have the two pretzels in the cup.

Do you still live with your parents or anything? If so.. do they ever nag about that? My mom really does.. ehhehe...

Machiavelli

Well...Im 15, so...yeah.

My mom bothers me about cleaning stuff up. She knows its not my thing so when its gets unbearable, she threatens my cashflow. Can can do this two ways:

1) not give me money. But I have a job, so...
2) She makes me clean it or I cant leave the house. If I cant leave the house, I cant put in hours. If I can't put in hours then I get paid less.

clever old hag :D ...

OMG. I just got Moo's link to work for me. She can have the trophy, as I might lose all contact with humanity if my desk ever gets that, um...lived in.

MrCow: That is pretty impressive. I wish I took pictures of my old desk. It doesn't rival moos, but its up there.

EDIT: Woot! 100 posts. I can now bitch and ask pepole who get laid whenever and whatever I want!!

My god people. What the hell is wrong with you? I can't stand to let my desk get that messy. I'll show you a pic of my desk when I get some batteries in my digital camera.

It is my firm beleif that a messy desk is a sign of true character...and laziness...

WTF How can you live around such a messy desktop? I take all plates, pop and glasses to the kitchen as soon as I finish with them. I have all sorts of books and documents on it that look messy, but are organized in a way only I know how to find them.

I have hard wood floors sean. also I never keep dirty glasses in my room. I use one a day and take it out the next morning when I get a new one.

Yes and you gotta do something about that like get carpet or something cause I always wake up your mom when I sneak into your bedroom late at night.

When CK was away for 2 weeks I had almost 70 cans/bottles on the desk, It looked like a fortress

The only time I'm on my computer at home, is after my son goes to bed at 10. I usually go to bed at around 10:30 or 11. Oh, and I'm on there in the morning when I'm getting ready for work, which explains the cereal bowls. I stop at my desk and drop my mail there, or empty my pockets after I've been out (explaining the beer lables - there's more buried under the mail). Sooooo.... yeah. I need to clean my desk off.

If you think that is bad, you should see my whole room. I'll take a picture after work. I have no shame.

This is just my closet floor...

and remember...it's not messy, its lived in!

My brother and I share our computer. He seems to not care one way or the other about what is on the desk (even when it is in the way of the damn mouse). While I have some sort of obsessive compulsive desire to keep my computer desk spotless. The only thing that keeps things on my computer desk is my laziness and procrastination. I think I have a pic of my desk at college to show you what I mean.
