i need help with finding level 2.

Level 2 is klondike forrest it's found by taking a passage on the west side on the overworld

Thanks! but now i got stuck in level 3 where i miss a key, the boss is finished but there are a lot of rooms on the middle left side still unexplored.

I don't know which key you are missing but did you try bombing walls

now new problems with Blanco bakery, how to get in,there seems to be anoter entrance from above somewhere, all i could do was to open a path either from the top or from left, but i cant get there???

I think you can buy it in the town or you get it in level 5 I am not really sure
don't forget to visit the town after each level

level 6: missing a key for a chest and can`t reach two rooms in the top left side...(boss is finished)
is there another hidden entrance?

No there is only one entrance but there are some walk through walls and bomb walls
( walkthrough isn't allways in the middle of a wall )
did you get the walkthroughwall right at the start after the entrance first screen left wall ?
after you walked through that one ther is another wtw down and a doorway
the doorway takes you to the most left up area

for those two rooms you need to hookshot to the candle on the screen above ( probably) the chest you haven't got the key for
It's a little tricky but it can be done

can anyone help another noob out by giving me an idea of where to find the flute and magic shield? I think i must have skipped a castle or not found the castles in the right order. Those fireballs are kicking my A$$, without a shield to block them. I got the red and blue candles, bow/arrow, boomerang, hookshot, flippers and raft.
Also I'm having the same problem that other posters have noted, i can't throw my boomerang in the up/left diagonal using the arrow keys asigned. In order to throw that direction i have to re-asign the key buttons to my num-pad (ie. up is now #8, left is now #4) which has made winning those heart pieces as of yet impossible. But i will win them!!! I don't give up easily.

Sounds like you are trying to play it in the 2.10 version, it's not likely you will be able to complete it in that version, it was built for the 192b184.
I doubt the shops will show up, so the tokens, as well as shields won't be able to be purchased.
there are other bugs as well when you play quests in the wrong versions, like the wrong enemies being placed on some screens, sometimes before you have the weapon you need to kill them.

Freedom (great games btw, tortuga got me hooked on custom quests) if I download 192b184 and restart my quest will the shield be available early on in a shop?

Tell you the truth I don't remember the quest very well right now, I've done too many others since, but I know if you don't the shops won't work right because of a 2.10 bug, so you won't be able to get potion or anything else.
I image Elise will be around pretty soon with an answer for you, she knows my quests better then I do, I forget what I did ten minutes after I did it. ;)

The whistle is in level 2 the klondike castle is what it's called I believe
You could already have the second sword by then and the bracelet I miss in your list but the shield
I also don't remember, I know you can't have it before level 1, the best thing I can say is just go back to the shop after each level :)
Or just take the one you get in level 2 :laughing:

I found the whistle and shield, they were both in level 2 chests, and I only found a money bag and magic container in level 3.
I went ahead and dl'd 192a184, now I'm off to level 4.
After level 2 the shop adds the magic boomerang.
Dodging those 'food' boulders to get that bracelet outside of level 2 was a real challange it killed me 8 times before i finally ran the gauntlet.

well, i found lvl 2 (and the bracelet in the caverns) but i cant do anything within the castle.

i can go in, right, up, and thats it.

the gem doesnt respond to my arrow, so the blocks dont switch to let me hookshot them.

anything i missed?

Yeah you didn't try the right item to hit the orb you need something else
