I saw this one a while back, but haven't played it...

I've played it, but not for long. It's got a Final Fantasy II combat system (the more you get hit, the greater chance of increasing your health, etc), and I can't stand that system! What I did play, however, was pretty good. A futuristic setting, on a space station with your standard tyranical bad guy chasing after someone/thing, etc. Recommended if you can cope with the combat.

I also know of a few more FF-fan games.

Final Fantasy : Crystal Wings (http://www.gamingw.net/games/43)
Final Fantasy : Shattered Lands (http://www.gamingw.net/games/60)
Final Fantasy : Chaos Shadows (Demo) (http://www.gamingw.net/games/358)
Final Fantasy : Blackmoon Prophecy (Demo) (http://www.gamingw.net/games/367)
Final Fantasy : Time & Again (Demo) (http://www.gamingw.net/games/600)

I haven't played these, but they're all apparently quite good. Give them a try, see what you think. Hope that's what you were after.

EDIT: There are no specific Final Fantasy editors, but your best bet is probably the RPGMaker series. I'm familiar with RPGMaker2003, but most people will probably recommend RPGMakerXP. I may get my wrists slapped for this, but here's a link you may wish to follow. (http://www.crankeye.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=225&sid=16b0a71582fe8e5a97c5cc01b135359d)

Found one more.

Final Fantasy VII - The Dark Cloud (http://www.megagames.com/news/html/freegames/finalfantasyviithedarkcloud.shtml)

This one's supposedly pretty good, but I haven't played it yet. Nice to go back to the world of FFVII though.

if you are looking for an fun rpg game to play then go to www.battleon.com it is fun and simple, but i dont know where to find a rpg creator.(unless you count power point, but that just sucks). I am sure if it was good it would show up in game informer or any other pc magazine. Thats how i found this website. :) :)

Also, try The Way (http://www.crestfallen.us) - an RPG series that kicks some serious butt. Not only does it have a custom battle mode (called 'The Plunge' - it's like a one-on-one dual, only with sparkly bits), but you can keep your character throughout the series by just moving your save from one game to the next. Very nice. The sixth is supposed to be out soon, and I hope they hurry up 'cause there's a twist at the end of the fifth one and I just gotta know what happens next!
