WASD = direction
N = B

My config is similar to LTM. I Cram everything near the arrow keys. I don't believe in this "WASD" system. :odd: It's FREAKY, I tell you. FREAKY! That's not just the pixiestix talking either.

Direction Keys: The Arrow Keys.
Sword: Right-Control
Item: Right-Alt.
Menu: Enter
Select: ... There's a select Button? @_©
L: Comma.
R: Period.
Map: Spacebar.

The Menu button and the Select buttons are the same thing. :tongue: On the original NES, it was the select button that brought the menu up. ;)

I use the arrows keys to move.

A = X
B = Z
Start = Right Shift
Select = Right Control

Arrow = directions

A = Num Enter
B = Num 3
Start = Enter
Map = Shift
L = Num 0
R = Num .

I think this is the best way, and all of my friends, think so too. :P

Okay, no one gets Select. How about MAP?
And why with the LR? No use for 'em.

L and R cycle through items without you having to pause and choose something else. So it makes it quicker switching between, say, the Boomerang and Bombs.

Move: WASD
A: Period
B: Apostrophe
L: Space
R: Right Shift
Menu: Enter
Map: Tab

This way, all my fingers can hit whatever is needed immediately. Very little having to move the fingers back and forth trying to hit the correct key.

Try it, just once. ;)

Arrow -> Directions
A -> A
B -> S
L -> Z
R -> X
Map -> ;
Subscreen -> [space]

it's just so natural, which is ironic since i'm moving with my right hand and everything else with my left.

arrows- direction
A- alt
B- ctrl
map- spacebar
pause/subscreen- enter/return

those are the only keys I know of, because those are the only keys I use

I usually don't use the keyboard ever since I got an AirFlo controller, but when I do use the keys, my setup is pretty much:

Directions: Arrow keys
A: Z
B: X
L: A
R: S
Start: Enter

System Error

A = D
B = S
L = W
R = E
Start = Enter
Select = Right Shift

This way, all diagonals work.

A : C
B : Z
Start : Enter
Select : Right Shift
Directions : Arrows

Every game I have to play on the keyboard is somehow based on this "zxc" layout I've made for myself. It works pretty well. Though, this gets in the way in ZC when I want to enter a name containing z or x.

I usually use a controller, but if for some reason I cant, I use the default key setup.

Meh, I just use the default. I don't like using a controller with ZC, it feels unnatural now that I've gotten so used to the keyboard.

The hardest of mine is:
A=a
B=l
L=q
R=p
map=z
pause=m

I use a controller too. I used to use the keyboard a lot to play games on the computer back when I first got into emulation since I didn't have a controller. Got pretty good at it, but since I got a controller I've realized what I was missing when I didn't have one.

My current set up is the direction keys as the movement buttons and 1, 1 for the A B buttons respectively... However I'm thinking of changing my config as it's killing my laptop buttons due to constantly avoiding stuff or repeated slashes :)

My set up is:

The movement buttons are the arrows, of course <_<

The "a" button is the "A" button.

The "s" buttnon is the "B" button.

That seems to be most comfortable to me :)
