Assigning Weapon to B

I cannot assign a weapon to the B button (when playing the original zelda game). I press 'start' which brings up the display that includes the weapons that can be assigned to 'B'; however, no button will move the cursor over a different weapon. Help!

I am using the newest version of ZC (2.10).

in the original, B was designated as your sword, and A was everything else. unless there's something i dont know about, the only thing B does is stab things...

Actually, it's A for the sword and B for everything else.

You just have to move the cursor over the item you want to use, using up, down, left and right keys, which are, up, down, left and right, by default, then press your B button(Ctrl by default) to use that item. Er, and I guess you're right Mad Steve, A is for the sword, not B. *Just saw a screenshot with Sword and Bombs*
