ZC Control Issues

I have a game controller for the computer, but I don't know how to set is up for ZC. I can set the buttons (A, B, L, R, etc.) to the controller, but I am unable to use the directional buttons with the controller. Is this a reoccuring issue? Can someone help?

FYI: The controller is a PCUSP Recoil. It resembles a PS2 Controller.

well, what version are you using, if your using 1.90 you can configure it using the config button in the start menu. i don't know about 2.10 though
