ok, my second quest (yes im working on 2) wich ive just started, wont work, ive been on it for a day or so, and it now wont come up. It says there is a header reading error. I have saved a backup file and that wont work either, is there anything else i can do? (this one is, or was, my better quest.)

first off, can you open ZC? If so, open up your quest and go into the header and delete all of the information, and replace it with the defaults for EVERYTHING in the header. What's the erros exact words? I've never had an error that says 'Header reading error!"

I can get in to ZC, but i cant load my quest. When you load your quest, it comes up when loading:

Reading Header....ERROR

Then i cant get on, or play my quest.

Sounds like you need more RAM, how much do you have?

no he's got enough RAM. if you don't have enough RAM it comes up with...

Allocating Allegro Buffer...FAILED

Of course that's on the older versions (1.00 - 1.90) What the problem is is the header information. ZC is reading the header information, and it's either not there, missing important data, or other header related stuff. Also, Darek_Cloud, he can get into ZC so he has enough ram he just can't open his quest.
