View Full Version : Is Metroid Fusion supposed to be like this?

When I enter the 1st sector, the pipe blocks the gate to where I can't go past. What needs to be done? I bombed it and shot missiles at almost the entire thing, and got upset about it.

Um, this question belongs in General Gaming Discussion. This particular forum is for Zelda Classic quest discussion.

No, it belongs here. He's talking about PolygonX8's quest, Metroid Fusion. Also, I don't really know how to answer your question, Madman, because I was able to get through that entire quest without any problems, and that was a long while ago, so I've forgotten most of the quest by now, lol.

Oops. Sorry about that. I wasn't aware of a Metroid quest.

Well, there's a pipe in the way! Can't blow it up, now can I? Also, it's the only route remaining!

If you've played the real metroid fusion, (or any Metroid game) you may remember that you must return to areas with new stuff. Same applies here. Not all of Sector 1 can be explored the first time through. You should be able to get to the boss though...

A: Apparantly I never shot the head. Still lost 3 tanks.
B: All I got was an E! So now what? S2 doesn't have removeable bushes, what now?

Can't anyone give advice, or do I have to hack into it?

I guess you are gonna have to hack into it...

What's with the triple post?

*Tries to remember*

I THINK the S1 boss gave you the candle so you could access S2.

Dang, I've forgotten how bad and old this quest is... if you're going to go all the way through with it, be sure to check out my Metroid XL-75 Remake for the 1.92 afterwards!

Uh...no it didn't. Just gave me an energy tank....stopped playing it just because of no advice.....
.....an alternate board with walkthroughs....delicious.

Well, apparently... it does appear. O_o I even checked the flags, and everything works. Are you using 2.10? If so, that's gonna be why. Never play 1.90 quests on 2.10... heck, 1.92 quests shouldn't even be played on it due to the program causing bugs. 2.10 is less-stable than 1.92's latest beta, actually. Just remember to use the correct player for the quests from now on. :) If you are using 1.90 (or perhaps even 1.92), and it's still not working... then, I'm not sure what's up.

But then, imo, this quest really isn't worth your time... as there are much better ones out there.

Oh, no no. That multi-Crocomire thing WAS for an energy tank. From that screen, go up, then right. There's the entrance to the rest of the sector.

Yes, and two screens up from the X, there's 2 Metroids(P.S. there weren't any metroids in Fusion) and 2...somethings...whatever. Anyways, I can't get the pipe to stop being there, can I?

The pipe... there should be some weird thing in the corner of the room. Looks liek some deformed fan. You missile it, and the pipes break.

As for the Metroid in Fusion, as enemies, no, but they were in it. But, I made this quest back when I was illiterate and not very skillful or even having the slightest care for how my quests turned out. *shrugs*

*crams head into door*DUH! WTH didn't I go and compare the quest to the real game? I can't believe that I actually made that kind of mistake......
