View Full Version : A big driver related problem - All driver#.cab files missing

A strange problem with my windows installation has somehow managed to make all of the driver.cab files... Nonexistant.
I cannot find a download for these files via google search, I'm wondering if anyone could point me in the direction to get these... without getting another copy of windows 98 SE. I tried reinstalling, and it's still missing the files, most likely due to a scratch on the outter edge of my win98SE CD.
I would greatly appreciate it.

I had a similar problem with XP pro. In the end I got a new copy.

Thats... not good. It'll be awhile before I can get a new copy.

Your only short term solution I suppose would be illegal. I very much doubt that they would give any files away free.
