Uh, that was a long title.
Basically, running windows 98 second edition, with direct X 9.0c installed onto C:/ and C:/windows/
I got the redistributable version so that I could move it from this PC (with the internet) to over there, about 6 feet behind me...
Can anyone tell me whats wrong?

I've got 98 First Edition, ZSNES, and DX 9.0c. They work fine.

I have it in C:/windows and just C:/...
Maybe C:/system?

Your computer might not have a video/sound card that is compatible with the latest version of Directx. I fyou installed DirectX to the default directory then it should work fine, except for the reason stated above. Other then that, I do not know.

...That could very well be it. My videocard is crapshit, and my onboard sound card is fried. I have no others.
