View Full Version : Tile warp return space blacking out... Help?

Both my green warpy thing, blue warpy thing, and yellow, or the return space for tile warps (I think...) are set on that square. Can anyone explain how to make this go away?

Also, what do the green, blue, and yellow square's assignments represent?

The yellow square represents where the secret stairs will appear when you trigger the "stair" secret combo. Unfortunately, the manual doesn't say what triggers the "stair" combo, and the whole secret combo section seems to be written for 1.9 when you only had one page of secret combos. This could be your problem, as the default combo for that is a blank square on at least the overworld.

The blue square is where you appear when you enter this screen from a tile warp. The green square is where you appear when you appear on this screen after either A) loading your save file or B) continuing from the continue/save/retry screen.

Thanks much, I was always curious about those.

But that still leaves the problem of the retarded black square. I could reasign all the blank combos to the dirt I'm using... but that sucks.

Yeah, it is wierd. It probably only is the "stair" combo, though, so it wouldn't be too bad.

I did change the stair combo, and that did fix it.
Very strange, maybe a bug in the coding. *shrug*
