How do you do it? That is, making the up/down spikes so that you can step over "down" spikes. Everytime I'd make it, the tile wouldn't move or it would, but the "down" spikes would hurt.

"Up" is on damage and has an aframe of 2. Its Next is "down." "Down" is on (none) and has an aframe of 0. (That's probably my mistake; how to fix?) Its Next is "up."

Hopefully that's enough info. Please respond.

Make them both the same aframe (2 of both combos) and speed (same thing). It you want the "down" to be a little longer than get add the another "down" combo so it gives more time. Everything else you said looks right.

The Pure Tileset, (found at http://www.purezc.com) has those already set up for you if you are using that tileset.

I still can't get it. :confused:
I'm using version 2.10, if that were to matter.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v125/PokeMaster/two.jpg Its tile picture is --> http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v125/PokeMaster/four.jpg

This is definitely enough to help. Please help me!

From what it looks, you have it reversed. you can walk on the spikes, but when they are retracted, you will get hurt. also, you MUST have at least 2 frames of animation for it to work properly.

This is what happens when I use the tile I've created with stats as the ones above:

Spikes Up (Damage) --> Spikes Down (Damage) --> Spikes Down (No damage) --> [Blank] No damage) --> loops to beginning...

I'll play with it. :/ Thanks for your help. Oh, and I couldn't find the up/down combo in Pure Tileset. :D

You have an issue with your setup. Attached is an image of what it should look like. :)

If you look, you will notice that there are two tiles in a row of the spikes up tiles, then two tiles of the retracted spikes.

Each seperate combo starts where an arrow points.

Then they "link" together using the "next" square. :)
