Has any body played this? It's not that new of a game, I don't think. I was look at it a bit at a couple of sites. If any body has played this what's it like?

I think there a free 30 day trial you can get into. try the official site to try to find it.
I played the free trial and I didnt like it much. I felt lost and didnt really know what to do.
I left the town I started in found a player made or owned area but it was deserted.
The only high point was a duel I got into with some other player I came accross in the desert.
I was whooping his butt with my blaster but he ran away or something.

I used to have a subscription a couple years ago. In terms of variety, it has a lot of professions and stuff. But its just another Everquest.

I've heard it described as Everquest without all the stuff that makes Everquest addicting. In other words, a really huge, impressive, complicated, boring game.
