how do you correctly download midi's? my friend said: file->save as, but he just guessed. please help!

Do you mean from a website or some particular program? Most websites, like vgmusic.com, let you save MIDI's by right-clicking and choosing Save, or by clicking on the link.

they are in my zquest folder, but i don't know where to go to upload them into my quest :( .

well when your in Zquest go to the Dmap and go to music and click upload MIDI and there you go

Yes it's free; don't ever pay to download midis.

:odd: my computer won't even play the midi's, let alone load them. i have 2.10. what i do is go into dmap 1. i go to music and click load music. in the c:// (whatever) file, there is none, even though i have the midi's in the same folder of zquest.

Go to "Quest" then click on "MIDIs".
This will bring up a list of MIDIs (they will all be empty).
Click on "EDIT" then click on "LOAD".
After that navigate to your midi and add it.
Then just do as you did before and the MIDI will show up in your list.
