Apparently, that demo last year wasn't just a tech demo.

A new 2D Super Mario platformer....the first one in....how long?

It's almost.....beautiful...

FINALLY! I've been waiting since Super Mario World's release in 1991 for another SMB game.

I'm not counting SM64 because that wasn't really a Super Mario "Bros." game. Luigi was nowhere to be found.

In that case, you can't really argue against SM64DS being a Super Mario "Bros" game, right? ;)

As for the game itself, it looks neat. Yet another DS game I'm looking forward to.

I saw this a while ago. Looks good - maybe when it finally comes out I'll be convinced to get a DS at long last.

Wow! That looks really cool. Reminds me of a 2D Mario 64/Super Mario Sunshine with all the manuevers Mario and Luigi are doing. I think I'll definitely have to pick that game when I get a DS.

I am excited for this, but I'm really not impressed with the screens. The quasi-3D thing looks kinda icky. But, it's the first true Mario Sidescroller since SMW, so Nintendo shouldn't disappoint.

Yoshi's Island was pretty wicked, and while not a true Mario Sidescroller it had all of the best elements with a few more.
That, and I loved the music soooo much.
