Right, it's me again...

I had lots to do, but now I finally found some free time. You haven't missed me, have you?

Anyway, I got some questions and that would be five or six threads, so I put them in here, as well:

1. Has anything changed within the last year (except the new ZC 2.10)?
2. What happened to the programming and web technology forums?
3. I have some nasty spyware, and no program seems to find it. May there be an other solution than formatting and reinstalling?
4. I am in search of members for a programming team.
5. The mail server at zeldaclassic.com seems not to work. I can login, but am unable to open a folder
6. In Golden Sun (GBA), is there a special trick to climb the right-hand sandfall in Venus lighthouse? I can't get over there...
7. Could anyone help me with that MPA stuff? (Don't ask if you don't know what I mean)
8. Is anyone interested in a game like LittleFighter (www.littlefighter.com), using forum members as characters?

In case you want to contact me, I am only available at: [email protected]
Or PM me.
Much text, but I would appreciate an answer for 2.,6. and 7.

3. I've had that problem before. I had to manually check all the program running in my task manager by comparing them with a list online. I don't have the link ready but google might help. You're probably going to have to remove it manually.

The problem is more complex.
I know it is a system of about 30 files in several folders. Via the task manager, I get the names of 3 of them. The real problem is, that after deleting, the files are restored by the other programs.
The effect of all that is that I have the Internet Explorer installed, but the system doesn't recognize it, so I can't install YIM and some other apps. Re-installing IE doesn't help because the files are 'restored' (replaced) by the spyware, as well.

2.) They got axed due to inactivity.
6.) GameFAQS most likely has an answer to that
7.) Not asking...

Welcome back, although I vaguely remember you. :p

That's exactly why you need to find a website about that specific spyware which will give you explicit instruction on how to get rid of it completely.

If this (http://www.broadbandreports.com/faq/8428) doesn't take care of your spyware problem, fdisk and format will.

Thank you for your help. I will try it right away. Hope it helps...
Gerudo, you've got a nice avatar. Do you play Ragnarok Online?

Two more questions:
a) In the ZQuest help, a tutorial is mentioned. Where could I get it?
b) Does anyone of you know a Counter-Strike Server without high-ping kick?

Right. Nice to 'see' you again. What do you mean by the last line?

My, the downloads are huge.
25 MB is a lot at 56k ...

In case you wonder about my many answers, I just try to get some posts. I wasn't here for almost a year.

Also, try HijackThis. However, don't attempt to go it alone. Find a bulletin board that has a HijackThis (or spyware) support forum and post the log there. People will be able to tell you what to do from it, most of the time. Also, consider running CWShredder.

Thanks a lot. CWShredder found one file, AdAware got the rest.
Still, My system doesn't recognize the Internet Explorer. When I try to install the 6.0 version, it tells me there is a newer version installed. All other programs tell me that Internet Explorer 5.5 or newer is needed and it is not installed.

I feel compelled to point out to richie that www.armageddongames.net is not the same as www.google.com and one does not replace the functionality of the other. :eyebrow:

I'm sorry for this late answer. I have had much trouble in the last days.
Here's what happened to the questions so far:
1. There doesn't seem to be something new.
2. Answered.
3. I re-installed the whole system now. Done.
4. Does anyone want to work in a programming team (with me and two other german guys)?
5. It still doesn't work here.
6. Beldaran, you're right. I just thought there may be something so stupid I didn't notice, which no one have ever written in the internet ( I didn't find anything in walkthroughs etc. from google).
7. I'll work on this alone.
8. Open or answers.

Also, there is a new question:
Can anyone tell me the address of the AGN chat channel? I lost it when formatting my HDD.

BTW, the correct spelling is 'Sieg heil.'
