Official AGN Logo Contest!

AGN has been around for quite some time, and it's successes in the fields of society, entertainment, and drug use are beyond comparison. With all this awesomeness, we need an equally cool new logo for AGNs new game, Project Seven.

Here's the rules/regulations:

Anybody can submit anything, any number of times. You can either submit it to me via PM, or email, or you can post it here. I know I call it a 'contest', but it's really just a community effort to make something really cool.

After all submissions are accepted, a voting thread will be created to judge the winning logo.

The logo deamed most awesome will be featured as the first intro screen of Project Seven upon it's release later this year. The submitter will be credited in the game as the creator, and you will get some in-game incentive as Project Seven is released.

Limitations:

The logo doesn't necessarily need to be a certain size, however, P7 uses the OpenGL api, so the final product needs to have sides that are powers of 2.

Animated .gif files are frowned upon.

If you use a 3D rendering tool to create the image, save the project file, as I might use the model for the in-game image.

Final Regulations:

Anything you submit will become property of AGN, so don't go use copyrighted material. If one of your submissions is used, you will be properly credited.

If you have any other questions, please THINK before posting them. If you aren't sure about something, it's most likely OK, as long as it isn't a stupid question.

I have a funny feeling people are going to ask me 'can it be 256 colors' or something like this. Yes, that's fine. I'm going to convert it to a .bmp when you're done, though.

On a side note, if you're using Photoshop, please keep the file format for that program. If something small has to change, I will go on to the next submission if you can't reproduce it.

it doesnt matter, just make something that has a power of 2 (see Ganonator's post) for width and heighth... of course you might not want to make it too huge...

I have an art director for P7, so I dont' need one for that. I need an official logo that says "Armageddon Games" like the burning AGN effigy on start of ZC.

as much as they would love complete originality, i dont think that meshing a few things there would be much of a problem.

but, just to be on the safe side, i wouldnt use any of the image types your mentioned.

I have gotten 7 entries. I'm not necessarily pleased with any of the ones I've received.

I believe images past 80 years are usable, as the copyright is gone; however, there may be rules about the internet version of the file, so unless you scan the picture yourself, it's probably not a good idea.

I started working on this a while ago for a different project and never really finished it. So here it is a little cleaned up. It's not in square form, but if it's even worth putting in square form, then i'll worry about that. It might kinda match the theme of P7 (I have a rough idea of what p7 is). It was supposed to be a sort of abstract picture of the surface of a planet exploding... like i said, i never really finished it.
