I sent my, and Pauls' mother, a home-made Mother's Day card. Wish we could spend time with them personally. But mine lives in South Carolina and Pauls' in Idaho. Ah well...

I went into Photoshop and drew a "wrap" for two large fancy candy bars I purchased. I hope it's enough. =/ .... It's certainly custom enough though, that's for sure. I said something like "May The sweetness inside pale in comparison to the sweetness that we hope we may add to your Mothers Day."

I got my mom a bouqet and some dusting powder in a scent she likes. Working at Walgreens means I actually REMEMBER holidays and get stuff at a discount :D

Well, last Sunday I gave her a lacy tablecloth and a card, and installed a toilet-paper-holder in her back bathroom...yeah, I know, but that's the one she was happiest with. Today I'm going to call her. And when I get to see her again, next weekend, I'm giving her the last 4 books of the Left Behind series, 9-12. Gave her 1-4 for Christmas and 5-8 for her birthday.

My son was going to call me, but I called him tonight so I blew that...

I got my mum that largest Mother's Day card known to man. It came in a huge corrogated card envelope, too.
I spent hours looking for something that wasn't clichéd beyond belief, or tacky. I don't know if there are Clinton Card shops acorss the pond, but here, they are the epitome of gift tackiness. Also the only gift shop I could find.
So I got the card, gave up and got flowers too.

I got her tickets to see Bill Engvall, $50 of Bath and Body Works stuff, then took her out to dinner tonight.

I had my dad buy her some cards (I'm poor) and we went out to eat.

I stole some beers from my grandparents and am inebriated. I have to get my ID renewed. Go to hell.
