I'm confused

Someone said in order to get MQ tiles, i had to rip them from a rom.

How the heck do I do that? I wanna do this for my quest

MQ tiles?

Well, at any rate, I think ZQuest can read uncompressed graphics from certain kinds of ROMs, but not all. So you'll have to use some ROM hacking utilities to get the graphics you want and convert them to a format ZQuest can rip from.

how do I hack roms though? is that a bad thing?
