View Full Version : Destiny fulfilled help
I'm in the final stages of this quest (Destiny Fulfilled" by SoStaci) and in level 9-4 there is a person that I thought needed food to let me pass. However he won't let me pass after giving him the meat. Am I missing something? Is there something else he wants or needs too let me pass? I would hate to have gone this far and not be able to finish this quest even thought it only took me 1 hour and 47 minutes to get this far. Help me please if you can. FZ

lemme see what i can do....
try buying something from him...or post a screenshot of where you need help.
He's not selling anything and I don't know how to post a snapshot. It's in 9-4 the 6th room from when you enter 9-4 from 9-3. Theres just a man standing in the middle of the room with fire on both sides of him. He won't let me by no matter what I do.

I redownloaded it from the database and the problem still remains. I can't get past him.

Well what version of Zquest are you running? W/e the version is, might have a glitch.
I'm playing it in both 2.10 and 1.92 build 183.

Here's how to take a screenshot, go to misc while playing zelda-w and press f12 to take a snapshot of where you are stuck.
Helpful?

SoStaci, you might consider passwording your quest. I got Zquest and accidentaly clicked on your quest, and it came up.

How is it that a person even finds such an old thread, then decides to bump it?
I apologize if I breached ethics. I searched two different sites for over an hour to see if anyone had answered this question. I found my exact problem previously asked but it was not answered because a screenshot was not provided. I had hoped that replying to that thread would be the best way to ask my question. Should I have started a new thread? If so, what is the appropriate time to respond to a thread?
ps. I did not check the date of this thread, I simply found it and responded to it. I will be more concious of this Faux Pas in the future.

Not mad, or anything, just curious as to how you found such an old thread. Of course, you ARE a premium member, so you have a search function, correct?
If by premium member, you mean, do I pay my bi-annual dues, yes. I have been a member for a few years and enjoy playing LOZ and quests that the members create. I often get stuck and I search for the answers in the forums. I usually can find my answer there but occasionally I need to ask myself.

Hmmm, off the top of my head I'd either check that you have all the pieces of the triforce, or that you have the Letter equvilent...
I dunno though,
That was the answer! I had not used the letter yet. I had to empty out my potion and then use the letter which allowed me to buy the red potion that appeared. thanks.
