Midi Problems (no music)

I do not hear the music in the game, but when i alt-tab or use the windows key to minimize then I get sound, but it goes away when i go back to full screen. The midi works fine. Im using a soundmax onboard audio driver.

It's a bug in version 2.10 that the music plays extremely quiet. It's already been fixed, so it'll work again in the next release.

I downloaded the player 184 version - now the SFX slider is controlling both the bkg and sfx - thats a bug too?

Hmm, I don't know of any sound/music bugs with the 184 player. Music and sound works fine for me on that. Perhaps the same device is being used for sound and music for you? So when you lower the SFX, it's lowering the volume on it which makes the music volume lower as well.

It's possible that the music is a "tracker" music which is affected somehow by SFX instead of BGM. O_o
