Make Fun of My Stupid Hair

Everyone in my band has a cool look, but I look like a nice, responsible 16 year old boy. (I'm 23. I'm not nice or responsible). :laughing:

So in a sad attempt at being more cool, I spiked my hair today, the best I could. I have horrible hair. It's got the frizziness of my italian/puerto rican mother, and the weight of my father's thick irish hair. So it refuses to look cool, even if I gob gel on it. On top of this, I got a bad haircut in which I accidentally asked for the wrong guard size and so he basically shaved the sides of my head.

I'm thinking of just shaving my god damned head and starting over. WTF should I do? What is a cool hair style? I'm tired of showing up for band practice looking like I belong in sunday school. :mad:

Before you shave it (which I know you will) shave it into a mohawk and let us see it then :D

I'd say a shave would be your best bet, but be sure to leave it sort of stubbley so that people know you aren't just bald.

Wait for the sides to grow to a normal length again.
Don't use too much gel, just a dallop on the tips of your fingers and work it through your hair.
Never use mousse.
Bring back the Forrest I know.
Don't try too hard to look cool, it shows and in a negative way.
A wet look is easy to achieve if you keep a light hand.
Cool is not in the hair.
Oh, and don't you dare shave it.

If you shave it, you'll probably miss it when it's gone.

Maybe a colour change? Though, after what happened to me....I wouldn't suggest that.

I have real thick hair and about 3years ago I shaved all the way down and I looked great. Shave it man. Shave it all chicks love it to. But please post a mohawk for us to laugh at. Now after you shave it if you want to prove your a real man put on a pair of combat boots and go out in public and hold your arm up in a 45 degree angle! :laughing: :evil: trust me man people will look at you in a whole new way :evil: :laughing: :evil: :laughing:

Dude! Go for the Mohawk! A friend of mine had a mohawk earlier this year. Everybody loved it. It was about 5 inches high.

Really, I'd say that your hair is great the way it is now. (Of course, I can't SEE it right now, ... ) I think that you were blessed with a great look regardless of hair or hat. Though I think a hat does look very nice on you. o.o Much like it does on me. Hats change people, I think. I always feel so paranoid when I'm without one.
