The coin rolls where I work at are famous for having non-american coinage in them. I don't know why, the bank is crazy.

Newho, when we get these coins we try to figure out where they come from and how much they are, but today we got one that stumped us.

It is the size of a penny, silverish. There is an ugle chic's head on the front. With the words Juliana Koningin Der Nederlanden. On the back it says 50 cents, there is a little crown and the year is 1950.

Anyone have anyclue what country it comes from? 1950 is kinda old, should I keep it?

I would say sell it on ebay, you might make some money

I think it's from Amsterdam.

It's from the Netherlands. More commonly known as Holland. I didn't know they had a 50 cent piece though, it's probably at least slightly uncommon. Do a little research with Google, and I'm sure you'll find out how much it may or may not be worth.

Edit: Isn't Eskyris from the Netherlands? Maybe she has something to say about it....

It says King Juliana of the Netherlands.
