The author must update the quest. The user can't.

You could try asking the author for the password. Some people might say yes, especially if the quest is older...

My master Ouch! want to update his own quest. So he want to know the how.

You know ideally new versions of Zquest/ZC should handle all file differences between quests so "updating" isn't an issue. Although I imagine this would be a pain in the ass if lots of versions come out to the public arena but still, it never hurts.
