Action Replay MAX Evo Edition Media Player Trouble

Does anybody have AR Max Evo?

I'm trying to convert a couple of AVI files using the Media software and burn them to a CD. Only problem is, I don't know what to convert them to so they're compatible and the PS2 can handle them. Does anybody know what bitrate and size I should use?

I'm not sure if the PS2's DVD player can handle this, but, you could try mpeg files, of course, I could never get the Media Player for AR to play any of my burned discs so I'm not sure.
