I have a question for the people. I really want to know what you think is the best place to look up the weather in America. What's the best website and the best TV channel or TV show...or portion of a TV show.

NewsCenter (http://www.wsyx6.com) (news for Columbus, OH) has a weather segment that gives "The Three-Degree Guarantee".

Here's the guy that does it. (http://www.wsyx6.com/news/bios/bradley.htm)

iirc, He has like, 99% accuracy.

I just use Weather Watcher (http://www.singerscreations.com/AboutWeatherWatcher.asp). It uses weather.com to get its information. I don't need the forecast to be stunningly accurate, I just like to have a fuzzy idea about hot/cold and dry/wet.

Ah, I've never heard of Weather Watcher. Weather Channel is not very accurate, so I'm afraid to use. My city is Newark, Delaware so I need something that I can go to my zip, Weather Watcher can....I don't think I can use that link, Gerudo.

Ah, I've never heard of Weather Watcher.

if i'm not mistaken atma is referring to a firefox plugin (i use it as well). and like atma, i'm mostly looking for a rough guess moreso than an exact forcast

Look outside. That's the best way to get weather information. Can't really forecast anything too well though.

I agree, but Chris Bradley bothers me, because he's like OBSESSED with his dog. *shudders*

No, it's not a Firefox plugin it is a tray icon. It's like getting WeatherBug without any nasty surprises or ad banners.

weather.gov - it gets its data from your local National Weather Service

I use the weather bug now. Before I never heard of it till I got a pop up ad with it. Now it comes with AIM.

I just rely on that or my local 24 hour weather/traffic station.

When you want the weather that's more then 3 days ahead then your taking a bit of a gamble. Usualy websites and t.v shows can only be so accurate.
So when I want something accurate I only check the weather that's within a day or 2.

Weather Bug is horrible because it is full of spyware, I would highly recommend that you uninstall it, Game.

As for weather.gov....I'm testing it to see how reliable it is in comparison with weather.com

I just watch the wheather network. Warning, winter may result in frost bite, numbness in the extremities and hot choclate dependance.

Weather predictions are stupid unless you're planning an outdoor event. Just go look out the window.
