Captain N!

I used to watch this show, and I have lots of disconnected childhood memories of the episodes. I also remember that they aired the Zelda shorts on this show at one time.

It was a totally bad ass show about this guy who goes into videoland and fights the evil motherbrain and her compatriots in evil, including Ganon (then spelled Gannon a la Legend of Zelda I), Alucard, and a couple of others I forget. It was really cool to me then; like epic and moving. And looking back it's the funniest thing. I guess that's what good drama is to an eight year old.

Anyone else remember this?

One of my favorite childhood shows ever. I remember the Bayou Billy episode specifically for whatever reason. Good times man. I remember in that episode the main character was doing all these weird moves on the dance floor haha. I also remember when they added the character "Game Boy". kid Icarus was on there too and I want to say mega man also. I remember the bad guys. Mother brain with the big mama voice, the eggplant wizard.

Oh yes, along with all the other Video game cartoons, I loved Captain N! I remember the great memories every time I watch Little Shop of Horrors. Mother Brain will always live on in my heart...

I remember the one where Simon and Mother Brain were gonna get married, and the one where they go inside someone's body and when they go to Tetris. :)

I loved Captain N. A few years ago I actually got a sealed Captain N VHS tape, the "Quest for the Potion of Power", where Link and Zelda are in it. It's my favorite episode by far :D

i never really understood captain N. It was way too much for me heh. Speaking of which wasn't there a metroid cartoon series?

Oh, the only memory I have of this series, is one where N is standing either on, or near, Mother Brain, and he is paralyzed, by having his pants turn from blue to brown. Something like that.

Still, it sounds like I missed a damn good show. I too would have loved to see that episode with the Potion of Power...
