So I hook it up. Awesome, I need a scanner, I have 2 sets of prints I want to show to the internet. Its a scanner gramps had in the closet, I dunno anything else about it, but it had no drivers disk or anything, so I googled for it, and got the drivers right from the site.... Installed them. OK... I notice there is no on button, no buttons anywhere on the scanner. never used one before, but I figure... I'll try and install. I search for a new piece of hardware, nada. So I go to add scanner/camera, the driver isn't listed, when I say "have disk" I can't point it to the file I downloaded, and it doesn't seem that i can point it to the driver I installed... basically, I want my stupid scanner working, and I've been trying all day. can anyone help?
