Help with Mr.Z's Ocarina of Time quest

I'm stuck at the fourth dungeon in the top left room with four Patra and an Aquamentus. This is insanely hard to beat. I can barely make a dent in the Patra's little shield Patras. I can't attack the Aquamentus without getting killed by the swirling Patras. If there is an easier way to beat this, I need to know. If there is anything specific I need to do, I need to know. I haven't gotten Lvl. 4's special item yet. I assume it's after this room. Please help. If you need to know more to help me out, please ask. Thanks.

try to kill the aquamentus with two bombs so that only leaves the patra
if the door is still open try to hide in the doorway planning your attack ;)
and health potion by hand :)

I forgot to mention that hiding in the doorway does not work. The Patra can still hurt me even if I'm as far into the doorway as possible....this seriously limits what damage I can do.

Hey! I've been playing this quest.... I think I need the bow but I cant find it. I don,t remember where I am, but, I remember I couldent get anywhere without the bow. Plz help:)
