Paper Mario vs Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door

I've finished just about everything there is to do in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door having beaten the Pit of 100 Trials last week (the only things I have left to do is get one more badge and finish the recipes) and I'm thinking about giving the original Paper Mario for the N64 a shot. Before buying it though, I wanted to know what everyone thought about it.

So how does the original Paper Mario compare to TTYD?

Paper Mario was a great game. But PM:TTYD blew it away. If you've played TTYD, there's not much that the N64 game can offer in the way of improvements. If you're just suffering from withdrawl, though, PM should be a good quick fix.
