Hi has anybody here ever used the Linux live CD? Did it work okay??? Where did you get it?

I've used Morphix Light GUI before. It worked pretty well.

There are a lot of different kinds of Live CDs out there. There are some that are used just for a single purpose too. There are game CDs, developer CDs, hacker CDs, CDs for kids, etc. I decided to try Morphix Light GUI because it is designed to run better on older hardware since it comes with a set of less CPU intensive packages (XFCE instead of KDE, Firefox instead of Mozilla, etc)

The Ubuntu LiveCD is single handedly the best LiveCD I've ever seen.

Hell, I might have even considered installing Ubuntu if it had a native KDE version )It allows you to install KDE, but a lot of the neat Ubuntu tools for GNOME have no KDE counterpart)
