Does anybody know of a site that will give you a free forum board, that will allow you to move your current board to them?

Oh wait I thought he said he was looking for a free discussion board. You can use invisionfree. But I don't recommend it.

There's proboards, but I don't think you can move your current forum there.

doesnt vb also offer for free? I coulda sworn it did but the only downside would be the numerous amounts of pop-ups.

Bah. Popups are no problem. And I really don't think vBulletin would offer any instance of free forums. :p They're probably loaded with papery dead presidents just lying around the office. ;) :laughing: ... ... ... Probably. :odd: Damn expensive, yo.

You should DEFINITELY try out www.invisionfree.com/. They're easily the best free forum resource out there, or at least from my own experience.

Not talking about joining. This guy I know had a vb. Only thing was, the pop-ups were annoying as fuck.

Not necessarily. It costs $10 (tenbux) join the Something Awful forums. I'm sure there are others that require paying for membership (or premium membership, like AGN).

Your right on that. Many big boards like this, Tekken Zaibatsu, and Shoryuken.Com (just to name a few), not necessarily require you to pay.

I have to check up on vb. I coulda sworn it was free but you have a limit to bandwidth or something.

They have a shit-ton of members, which means tons of server space/bandwidth used for their boards. They gotta pay for it somehow. :shrug:
