ZQuest is, in my mind, the most user-friendly game creation system I have ever used. Are there any other game maker systems out there that are as easy as this?

StarCraft and/or Broodwar. Too bad there isn't a community anymore :shrugs:

I've seen a lot of UIs, but ZC is easily the best and easiest to figure out. Thanks.

Is there a game maker that allows you to create a game like Final Fantasy Tactics?

that would be cool if there was, but I don't think so. if there is, I doubt it would be worth downloading

right now, I'm searching for FF game maker like ZQuest, but I haven't had any luck so far. if only RM2K didn't use chipsets and could have animated tiles...

and it worked on my system...

I have. RM2K Stands for RPG Maker 2000, not 2003. The 2003 Version Works a lot better.

Here you go blaster_master:

RPG Maker 2003 (http://server1.timecircuits.com/rm2k3.zip)

ZC is one of, if not THEY BEST programs of its kind. It's highly unlikely you'll find another program similar to what ZC allows you to do with Zelda, atleast not in the finished quality ZC has had for much time now.

Agreed. Not only does the interface is user-friendly and you can create A LOT of things with ZQuest, we must not forget about all the community that surrounds it.

what I would really like is something like lego creator, however, drasticly more customizeable

What about Open Zelda? I haven't actually made any quests for it but it looks really cool.

Dink Smallwoods is like Zelda Classic, but Zelda Classic is easier to use.

I got the perfect free dish for all of you guys, especially those interested in making game design a living. Game Maker is a program designed so that those of us with no computer programming lingo can develope basic games easily. If your able to grasp the concept of its language, which uses mostly variables appointed for different actions, then you can develope a zelda game where you yourself create the limits for the game. Imagine creating your own items, as many of them as you wish, your own enemies, and your own original puzzles without the limits of zquest, but of your imagination. If anyone is interested, go to
http://www.gamemaker.nl/

But don't use GM6, because it's a little... buggy!
