View Full Version : Question for Motzilla

How do you use your new console? When I click on it, it gives me the following message:

Can't Find ZC Process.

I have it in the same folder as ZC and am using it for the right version(2.10).. I tried both opening it first and opening it after opening ZC, same message.

I love your consoles, they help me to really enjoy games that I normally would'nt last through the second(sometimes first) dungeon in. Thank you for making them for us.

Make certain you are using zelda-w.exe and that it is named that. Don't have it named just zelda.exe or zc.exe. The program must find the process zelda-w.exe.

I checked and that is the name of the zc application. I have them both in the same folder. I'm just not sure what's going on, why it can't find zc. I appreciate you helping me.

Well, you are using the windows version right? The only thing left I can think of is that your using some odd version of windows. Maybe WinXP with the SP2 installed? I've heard other such problems with things not working with SP2 installed.

Man, I wish I had that new a version! Unfortunatly I am stuck with my old Win 98 second edition. Do you know of any problems with the Win98 not working with the console?

Actually I was suggesting if you had service pack 2, that might be why it didn't work. Unfortunately you just ruled that out. The console should work for old windows kernels (95,98,me). It definitely works though in Win2k and WinXP. I don't have a Win98 setup to test it on however.

I have it working with 98
first start the quest, get out start the console , wait a few secs and he find the quest , go back into the quest and it works

Thank You Elsie!!! It worked! I feel kind of stupid now, but I just wasn't waiting long enough for it to find ZC. I am not used to it working this way and was just going by what first showed in the message area. Sorry about that Mottzilla. Thanks to both of you for your help.
