PolygonX8, does the inability to purchase to buy medicine or super bombs at a certain shop pose a major problem, a minor problem, or no problem at all?

Also, I am searching for a "key in the Eastern region" to pave the way to level 5. My search has turned up empty so far. Does the desert cave barracaded by stones have anything to do with this?

Should'nt be a problem if you've already used the s. bomb on the cross-shaped rock. Seeing as you're going to level 5, you've already done that.
However, you should be using 1.90 for this quest if you aren't. I've noticed 2.10 causes shop bugs. :\

The screen right under the one you bombed to reac hthe cave with the hookshot has a stairway blocked by rocks. Using the power glove (level 4 I believe it was in), you can push these rocks out of the way. Inside, you'll be in anotehr region of the cave which contains the key, and the third sword.
