View Full Version : How to get Permanent Triggers to work?

This is a problem I have been having since Zelda Classic v1.92 and later (since I have been using Zelda Classic and the ZQuest Editor). I have been trying to get the Permanent Triggers to work. To experiment, I have placed a floor switch with the permanent trigger on the floor. When Link walks over it, the flags are activated like they should be, yet when Link leaves the room and comes back, the flags are restted to what the once were (like if the switch was a temporary trigger).

Is there something I'm not doing correctly or has this feature yet to be enabled in Zelda Classic?

use cave dmaps instead of dungeon dmaps, that's the simplist way.
It then gives you full control over what happens on a screen.
