official third quest ... red bubbles at end of level 7

I managed to pass these and kill the 4-head gleeok after. I'm just curious how you guys done it. I wonder if there is another way than burning yourself up to dodge the hits.

haven't played the "official" third quest myself, but I believe you would be able to boomerang them still and then just walk over them. that's what I do in the bonus dungeon of my quest, HowHigh.qst, when I'm testing it. I have some really hard rooms with mad wallmasters and red bubbles. they're especially hard because the walkways are one tile wide and you need to get by or through a few wallys before pausing the bubbles and hope the bubble doesn't come for you before the wallys are dead. hehe.

Only the fire boomie can stop the bubbles.

There's no fire boomerang in the O3Q, sorry...

Once out of the red bubble room, you can use a potion to get your sword back... or you can use the Magic Wand to defeat the Gleeok (it's hidden in Level 7).
