Starting point?

Why is it when I tell the system to start link at a certain point it always goes back to the default map 0,0 at the top left of the screen. Now when I'm on map 0,0 and change the point of where he starts it will start there but I don't want them to start in 0,0. Like in the tutorial I want him at 7,7

The starting point is set on DMap 0. You can access the DMap somewhere in the second of third menu I think. There, on DMap 0, set the starting location as to where you want to make link start his quest. Oh, and don't forget to set a starting point on THAT SCREEN too ;)
