green spell is suicide

hi. it seems as though i have found a few problems with my zquest. link dissapears when he casts ( but the tiles are there in the pixie file) he also dissapears when he faces up until he does an action (sword slash, pound etc. ) and the green spell is suicide. I also have no enemies. once again the tiles are present, but the enemies are inatimate and when i go to the enemy chooser thingy it says none in every slot. did i forget to download something? the only thing i didn't download was the support archives for windows/dos. this is probably my problem, but could anyone help me verify? i have to go through a bit of a process to transfer files onto my computer from this one. it's not too bad, but if it's un necessary i would like to avoid it. also if i do have to download the support files how do i incorperate them without having to delete everything and re extract/ install the whole program? thanks. i'm also having trouble layering (stairs under a bush etc.) but i'll re evaluate the tutorial for that. thanks.

hey thanks alot. i haven't got to the spell yet, but i figured out why he was dissapearing. i am missing the up faceing tiles for link when he has the mirror shield. still can't figure out the casting though. he doesn't dissapear, he turns into a black square. i'll keep looking through the tutorials, but any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

i still have no idea what hammer and pose are, but the casting thing fixed itself, and the green spell is just a warp to wherever the green start square is. the enemies, well, i feel a little stupid about that one. i copied the link facing up tile and put it next to the magic shield tiles, but i have yet to test it. after i did that the casting started to work though.
