It's PolygonX8, the Metroid quest creator.

I'm sure many of you might've played the MTPP demo linked via my sig, or play a very old crappy Metroid quest of mine for 1.90 entitled "Metroid: XL-75".
Well, I've completely remade it due to it being the prequel to MTPP, and me being dissatisfied with the original.

I have submitted it to the AGN DB, but here's the quest on my download page:

This SFX file is composed of many Metroid sounds for a better feel. If you already have it, redownload anyways as I've tweaked it a bit.

USE BETA 183!!! If you don't, serious bugs may occur, and I STROGNLY recommend you don't play this on 2.10 as I can assure bugs will occur on there. :shakeno:

The quest is short, and its bosses aren't VERY good (except the final is quite decent), but it's better than the past three Metroids I've made combined, I can assure that much. It has some nice visuals (except the landscape style might mess with your head seeing as the tiles are sidescroller ones from MZM), and good gameplay, plus it's overall a moderate difficulty.

I hope to get some feedback on this quest, and if you need help on it (chances are you might or might not get stuck), you may post here. :)

I've played this quest already, and I can tell you, it feels a whole lot like Metroid. It's not too long, but very enjoyable. I recommend you guys to play this quest. It's fun.

I have to agree with this comment. Your original was a nice break from the typical role of Link taking on Ganon cliché. I thought it was great and your tile set was well done. I'll check out the new one and tell ya what I think about it.
