Help with converting WAV into MP3 with windows media player

I know you can, when you go to burn a CD with windows media player, how do you make it so it burns it as a MP3?

Don't think windows media player supports that. Use another program (Nero does the job well).

I recommend using whatever you got with your CD burner. Nero is a fine program. You can also use Easy CD Creator, although it's a piece of crap. Just create a Data CD, and you'll have a CD with mp3's on it, playable by an mp3-CD player. I use K3B for Linux.

He's talking about converting files to mp3s. I actually need to know a program myself so I could convert .ogg files.
