Hearts with white rings.

If I recall right, there was hearts with a whiteish ring around them that would allow you to consume more damage in the older Zelda games. Is it possible to do that in Zquest?

Well, no, you can't do anything special to the life meter itself.

But you can give the player one of the "ring" items. Blue ring cuts damage to Link in half, red ring reduces it to 1/4th, and gold ring to 1/8th. (Most quests don't use the gold ring though...8x defense makes you near-invincible...o_O)
