Is it possible to make MIDI's CD format so you can listen to them with a regular CD player?

I don't think it's possible. I think CD player's only take mp3 formats. Some might take .wmv formats as well but I don't know.

I'm not sure if this would work, but you could try using the .wav disk audio output plugin to winamp. If you need too much more explanation than that, it's probably not worth it trying to explain it through text. Find a friend who knows a lot about computers.

EDIT: You could always do it using a line output, but that's probably more trouble than it's worth.

there is a program called 'total recorder' that will do what you want. the trial version only records the first 40 seconds or something, but with a little searching im sure you could find a crack or a keygen for it.

Why would you want to listen to a MIDI in a CD player? Jamming out on the highway listening to the orignal Doom level music full blast? Hilarious.

so? I listen to a lot of Unreal Tournament in my mp3 player. His choice.

It is possible with Winamp and the right plugins. I've done it before (long before I had an internet connection capable of giving me my mp3s in a heartbeat).

I myself, Toolie, have writtien out my own songs in MIDI format, that I need on a CD to listen to so I can practice to them so I can perfect them so I can record them. There are many different uses, and that's just mine.

Besides, if he wanted to listen to the original Doom music, I'm sure there are mp3s out there...
